15 September 2008Concern over the stability of banks has given renewed interest in FDIC insurance and what it means.
The FDIC guarantees deposits up to $100,000 per person, for each bank. So if you have $100,000 in Washington Mutual and $100,000 in Chase, each would be fully insured.
